This wasn’t obvious to me (you can’t do it via a conversation in Claude Code CLI for example).
You need to go to https://claude.ai/design, click on your account icon in the top right, and flip the toggle to allow access between Claude Code and Claude Design, there’s no other way to do it that I could find (including in primary settings at claude.ai).
